Adult Formation
“But you, remain faithful to what you have learned and believed, because you know from whom you learned it, and that from infancy you have known the sacred scriptures, which are capable of giving you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” (2 Timothy 3:14-15)
“Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.” (Romans 12:2)
Faith Formation ends neither when we are Confirmed, nor when we graduate high school or college, nor when we get married and become parents. Faith formation is a life-long pursuit that ends only when the Lord calls us from this world to the next.
More importantly, living as we do in a secular post-Christian world, we cannot help but be influenced by the society in which we live. Therefore, we must be actively engaged in the “renewal of our mind” by study, prayer, and fellowship.
We actively engage in Adult Faith Formation by offering various reading groups and Bible studies. As soon as Covid restrictions are lifted and we can gather safely, we plan to expand our groups and studies as needed.
